Hi ..... I am from Rishikesh also known as the land of Gods . Its a pilgrimmage city of India and is 25 km from
Haridwar, another pilgrimmage. Rishikesh is better known for its Yoga camps and ashrams (
www.rishikesh.org) . When i was in school i developed special liking for physics especially the behaviuor of electrons always excited me. I
wanted to be an Engineer. Getting through the toughest entrance exam for engineering colleges in India i got admission in
IIT Kharagpur and to no surprise the field i have choosen was Electrical engineering. After obtaining my degree i joined BHEL
as an Engineer at their Haridwar unit. There i worked in the WEX ( Works Engineering and Services) Department for almost three
years. As the work started to shift from technical to administrative i decided to get a proffessional degree in management.
Competing against the best brains of India i took the CAT exam , one of the toughest entrance test of the world. I got
admission in IIM Kozhikode. Its in Kerala , also known as Gods own country. The infrastructure and sceneric bauty at IIMK
enthralled me . People say its more like a resort than an institute in appearance and infrastructure and beieve me they are
not wrong. This was my short journey from Land of Gods to Gods own country.
